Bye-Bye Okuma we will be back.
We decided Rob needed to take a week off of work so we could take our time and enjoy some of the Island. We traveled to the Northern most tip of the Island and stayed at an Air Force run facility called Okuma. The beach there was so pretty. You can Golf, play Put Put, tennis, and they even have a camp ground with fire pits if you wanted to do that. During the summer time, peak season, they have Go-Carts, and movie nights and lots of fun stuff to do.
It took us about an hour and a half using the express way to get there from our home. While we were up there we visited a Pineapple winery. It is quite the tourist attraction. We got to taste some pineapple wine, sorry to say we didn't leave with any bottles of it, I guess it is an acquired taste. We did leave with some yummy pineapple cookies and cake though. From there we went to Ocean Expo Park. It is a huge place. So big that we will have to go back to see the rest of it another time. There they have dolphin shows, an old Okinawan village you can walk through, a Botanical garden, a huge children's play area, the Aquarium. We will do a separate blog for it. It was lots of fun and we can't wait to go back again.
This was a short trip. We all enjoyed some much needed R&R. Victoria was so good, she slept in her pack and play with no problems. The bathtub didn't work so she had to take a shower and she did not like that at all. She loved the golf cart rides and the Beach. We have decided to make this an annual trip. We look forward to staying at Okuma again next year.

Love,
Andreana, Rob and Victoria
