Hurray for swimming pools

The pools officially opened here on Saturday. It was a nice hot day so we took advantage of the cool water. The kiddy pool is 1-2 feet deep with a canopy over it so we didn't have the sun shining directly on us. It wasn't that crowded. We were thankful for that. Victoria didn't like it very much at first. Once she noticed the other children jumping and splashng she decided it was an okay place to be. Victoria will be taking swim lessons this summer, we can't wait. We love that the pool is within walking distance to home. We will be there often this summer.
